i know it’s been a couple days but honestly… wtf. stop your bitching.

sunday was a pretty lax day. we didn’t do much except hang at mitchell’s for nfl championship action. the packers lost to the falcons and patriots trounced the steelers. super bowl LI looks to be semi exciting. obviously i want the falcons to win just because reasons, but mostly so i can give rick shit. lulz.

monday was also a pretty chill day. we sent off the application for membership at piedmont. can’t wait to check the course out on a regular basis. other than that, i finished the caulk work on the downstairs steps. all in all another dull day at casa bitches.

such is life sometimes.

there was a brief conversation at dinner regarding how spoiled and entitled the kids carry them selves around the house. it could’ve been a blown out fisticuffs ordeal, but it was actually pretty tame. that’s been something i worked on.

it bothers the shit out of me when the kids are told to do some obviously tremendous arbitrary task, like clean their room, pick up after themselves, don’t leave dishes in their room, take a shower… you know what i mean, amiright??

the catalyst that sparked this discussion was taking the dogs out to do their business. makenna gave every excuse in the book as to why she couldn’t stay outside until stout did his poopies. i was so fed up with her whining i told her if i could make him go then she’d be punished. it didn’t take but 45 seconds, the total time it took her to try twice.

if i hadn’t intervened carolyn would’ve done it just to get makenna to stop whining. i’m tired of that bullshit. the kids need to be held accountable for their actions. at.all.times. it’s not like we ask too much of them, just the basics. be respectful. do your chores. get good grades. that’s about it in a nutshell. but omfgjesuschrist. heaven forbid they’re away from their fucking computers for a minute. heaven fucking forbid you take care of an animal that you wanted and call your pet. i’m tired of their shit and the pampering from carolyn.
