so yesterday’s playoff game between green bay and dallas was the most intense game in the playoffs thus far. what an incredible come from behind game dallas played. they tied it up in the last minute or so but then the packers marched down the field and, with 3 seconds left, put up the game winning field goal. it was and excellent game.

the nelson’s, mitchell’s and coles were here. we went through 3 1/2 bottles of basil haden. yeah, needless to say i was a bit hungover this morning. it’s really great to have friends like these folk.

the wife and i went to piedmont country club to check our their facilities. i’ve wanted to join a golf club since the days of virginia oaks. i missed the amenities a golf club affords you, plus, i miss the competition of a men’s league. it’s definitely an extravagance. i will use the membership a lot i’m sure, but it definitely isn’t cheap.

i’m sure i’ll talk more about the membership possibility.
